We are looking for candidates who embrace the excitement of creating new knowledge, are eager to participate in a hands-on learning environment at WSU and have a passion for mentoring a diverse student body. This tenure-eligible position includes research, scholarship, teaching, and some service responsibilities. Applicants must hold a relevant Ph.D. degree and a commitment to diversity.

Candidates with research experience in manufacturing related robotics and automation systems, digital twinning, electronics manufacturing, integrated manufacturing systems, or computational modeling, and whose interests align and augment the departments strengths are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

Obtaining research funding, conducting an active research program, publishing the results of the research.

Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses.

Advising undergraduate students, supervising MS and PhD students in their theses and dissertations.

Actively participating in professional societies, and service to the department, college, and university.

You are expected to commit 65% of your time to research, 25% to teaching, and 10% to service before tenure
