Summary

Operate, setup and troubleshoot sheet metal fabrication equipment including stamping presses with automated transfer systems, CNC turrets, Laser cutters and automated bending cells.

Principle duties:

Perform all tasks required to operate, setup and maintain equipment to produce parts in compliance with specifications. Troubleshoot setup related issues which may require frequent adjustments of settings, system parameters, etc. Read, understand and follow work instructions. Perform die changeovers. Work with support departments to resolve issues resulting in production delays. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment. Complete all required and assigned paperwork. Perform housekeeping duties and comply with all quality checks to include first and last part inspection. Other duties may be assigned.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
