PART-TIME CULINARY ARTS INSTRUCTOR

Vernon College is seeking a part-time Culinary instructor to teach the Vernon College Culinary Academy program. This is an hourly position. Qualified applicants must have at least 5 years of experience in restaurant management, cooking, and baking.Applicant must be a Servsafe instructor, or willing to become Servesafe certified prior to the start of the Culinary/Hospitality program. Applicants must be comfortable creating and executing lesson plans, teaching adults, and recruiting students. Formal Culinary training is preferred.

This is a security-sensitive position and is subject to a criminal history record. Criminal history records will be used only for the purpose of evaluating applicants for employment in security-sensitive positions. (Texas Government Code 411.094 and Texas Education Code 51.215)
