Responsibilities

The Recovery Center, located in Wichita Falls, TX, has served clients from throughout the state of Texas as well as Oklahoma, Louisiana and New Mexico for over 15 years. We believe that treatment held in a setting that is similar to home increases our clients’ chances for maintaining recovery after leaving the facility. That’s why The Recovery Center provides a comfortable, home-like environment for those seeking treatment for addiction issues.

This full-time opportunity offers 40 hours per week, full benefits, and a convenient day shift schedule.

The Executive Director is responsible for managing and directing for the facility including; all activities of client care in accordance with the established standards of care, facility policy and procedures, goals and objectives. The Executive Director maintains fiscal responsibilities including FTE Management and other Operations. This position contributes to the facility philosophy, objectives, educational and quality improvement efforts, while providing guidance to employees of the facility.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all staff members deliver care in accordance with the Standards of Care and Practice.

  • Implement facility policies and procedures and acts as a resource to the staff.

  • Responsibilities for compliance with the Joint Commission, state and regulatory standards and patient rights standards.

  • Process unusual occurrence reports, conduct investigations and corrective plans when needed.

  • Evaluate the appropriateness of all medical/psychiatric emergency interventions performed in the facility.

  • Provide leadership and direction to all facility staff in accordance with the facility’s goals and objectives and conducts disciplinary actions where indicated.

  • Continually evaluate the activities, morale and interpersonal relationships of the facility staff and promotes methods to improve in these areas.

  • Completes daily FTE report analysis and acuity based staffing

  • Completes Monthly Operations reports

  • Meet on a regular basis with Corporate Leadership .

    Qualifications

    Educ ation: Master’s Degree specializing in Nursing or Social Work or a clinical related area.

    Experience: A minimum of three (3) years experience in a residential treatment facility preferred.

    Licensure: Current RN, LPC, LMSW or LCSW issued by the State of Texas.

    Additional Requirements: CPR certification and successful completion of Handle with Care and Verbal De-escalation including restraint and seclusion policies, within 30 days of employment and prior to assisting in restraining procedures. Thorough knowledge of TJC/HCFA, OSHA, State and Federal requlatory requirements is a plus!
