Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Program Manager for the ARMY Division.

JOB DETAILS LOCATION: WSMR, NM (On-site) JOB STATUS: Full Time TRAVEL: Estimated Up to 20% REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS EDUCATION: MS in Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university EXPERIENCE LEVEL: Work experience AND demonstrated leadership responsibilities on at least two large projects or programs utilizing civil, mechanical, computer, electrical and electronics engineering discipline Experience reviewing and approving the work of project managers, engineers, support staff and contract administrative personnel Five (5) years of demonstrated engineering and management experience on contracts OR projects with organizational responsibilities of a similarly complex nature and financial scope One (1) year of experience, demonstrated knowledge of, or education in the DOD contracting process One (1) year of experience, demonstrated knowledge of, or education in the DOD acquisition process specifically related to the test career field or obtain the requisite training (at the Contractor's expense) within 1 year of contract award and provide documentation of the training to the Governm Two (2) years of experience demonstrated knowledge of, or education in the DOD acquisition process specifically related to the test career field. SECURITY CLEARANCE: TOP SECRET DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS Personal computer skills (competent with MS Office applications) RESPONSIBILITIES Supports the organization, planning, scheduling, and controlling of all support and engineering work. Obligates the company regarding contractual and financial matters when the Program Manager is not available. Serves as the primary liaison with the Government when the Program Manager is not available; must have a technical and administrative grasp of all contractual requirements. Supports the supervision of all Contractor personnel engaged on this contract Supports the execution of day-to-day operations including cost control, planning, reporting and project schedules. Supports management all resources to implement work requirements to their timely and successful completion.
