Mast-Jägermeister US Human Resources Internship in White Plains, New York

Mast-Jägermeister US is looking for an energetic and driven HR intern to champion and support various HR functions. In this role, you will get first-hand experience with our work, our people, our brand, and culture. During this internship, you will have the opportunity to interact with the Senior Leadership Team and network with department leaders and other professionals across the organization to complete assigned projects. This internship is designed to be both practical and educational and apply skills acquired in school in a professional setting. The ideal candidate is someone who hopes to gain insight into what it is like to work in a Human Resources Generalist role.

HR Projects and Responsibilities:

  • Own an individual project with strategic business impact that you will present to senior leaders

  • Support with various HR generalist activities including new hire onboarding, HR reporting and analytics, and employee requests

  • Conduct research on relevant and trending HR topics, specifically around benefits and diversity and inclusion content

  • Collaborate with HR team members on various projects and initiatives related to employer branding, trainings, and policies

  • Draft companywide communication on HR related topics (benefits, payroll, DEI, training)

  • Learn about the customer service aspect of the HR department and understand process of trouble shooting employee questions or concerns

  • Perform other clerical duties and assist with ad hoc projects

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a university majoring in Business Management/Business Administration or a recent graduate in relevant majors

  • Successful candidate must be energetic, self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow

  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Collaborative team player

  • Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with high proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
