Mast-Jägermeister US Business Intelligence Manager in White Plains, New York

Position Summary:

As a Business Intelligence (BI) Manager you will lead a team that strategically supports the commercial organization by integrating data from a variety of sources, generating key insights. You love large projects, working cross functionally and are always seeking to better understand the nuances of the business so you can improve process to produce stronger analytics for the organization. You will be a thought leader and subject matter expert in depletion reporting programs iDig, Compass, and Diver.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead team of three analysts and be responsible for end-to-end delivery of the BI agenda, including depletion reporting, sales team KPI planning and monitoring, syndicated data, and other various ad hoc BI related projects

  • Process Reviews: Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient processes

  • Continually monitor the validity and quality of data in all BI related tools such as Microsoft Power BI

  • Ability to serve as technical and subject matter expert and liaison with IT on the translation of business requirements and implementation of BI platforms and tools

  • Responsible for all Data Integration with respect to the current Data Warehouse project.

  • Manage the collection, analysis, and production of all BI products in order to consolidate data into strategic analysis, make conclusions and provide recommendations to the business

  • Design and develop stories and visualizations to communicate insights and recommendations to Senior Leadership and other stakeholders

  • Develop and maintain a training program for the team Analysts (“train the trainer”), to include utilization of analytical tools to monitor activities, analyze impact (ROI), and ensure accountability to deliver against MJUS KPI

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or related field

  • Beverage Alcohol industry background preferred, with strong track record of driving both business performance & process improvement

  • People management experience

  • Strong understanding of database architectures for BI operations

  • Experience with data cleansing, harmonization, and validation a plus

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Power Point

  • Strong technical skills, knowledge of IRI, iDig, Diver, and Compass a must, SAP & Power BI experience a plus
