Mast-Jägermeister US Business Intelligence Intern in White Plains, New York

Mast-Jägermeister US is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented Summer Business Intelligence Intern to join our team. As an Analyst Intern, you will assist the Business Intelligence team by strategically supporting the organization generating key insights and integrating data from a variety of sources: Power BI, VIP, Pro Diver, and IRI.

This position is ideal for a student or recent graduate who enjoys large projects, inciting action using a data led selling approach, and working cross functionally. This internship is designed to be both practical and educational and apply skills acquired in school in a professional setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a team of three analysts focusing on the BI agenda, including depletion reporting, data validation, KPI planning and monitoring, syndicated data (IRI), Power BI Cloud functions, and other various ad hoc BI related projects.

  • Provide reporting, analytic review and support to members of Leadership, Commercial Sales and Marketing teams to assist in evaluating the effectiveness of route-to-market strategies, business intelligence tools and applications.

  • Support department-wide Insights projects that can drive standardization and efficiencies while driving innovation of new reporting capabilities and insights.

  • Track, review, verify, analyze and report accurate results in a timely manner.

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a university majoring in a Business related field (or a recent graduate in relevant majors).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Demonstrate analytical ability and be able to build presentation and business cases.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint

  • Understanding of database architectures for BI operations.

  • Experience with data extraction, cleansing, harmonization, and validation a plus.

Benefits

  • Highly competitive hourly rate-$25 per hr. 34 hours per week max.
