Westchester Jewish Community Services Assistant Residence Manager in White Plains, New York

Details about this exciting opportunity:

  • Full Time (40 hours/week) positions available as an Assistant Residence Manager in one of our group homes located in Westchester County.

  • Salary Range: $18-$20/hour

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Perform variety of tasks with assisting the Residence Manager.

  • Support in the overall operation of the community-based residence.

  • Perform the duties and essential functions of the position of a DSP.

  • Affirm the human rights, civil rights and responsibilities of the people you support.

If you have the following:

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent, two years of College preferred.

And Attributes:

  • A Valid Driver’s License for over two years is a must.

  • Two years’ experience working with persons with developmental disabilities and one-year supervisory experience.

  • Knowledge of individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, and health care conditions; knowledge of OPWDD Standards.

  • Knowledge of supervisory and administrative practices that promote team work and development of staff.
