    What you will be doing:

  • Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitizing of all surfaces in the kitchen spaces

  • Responsible for keeping floors and work areas clear of hazards and obstruction

  • Responsible of the operation of kitchen cleaning equipment

  • Other duties as assigned

    Your experience and skills include:

  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team

  • Passionate about maintaining a clean and safe working environment

  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene

  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, Safe Food Handling certificate and both can be completed upon the commencement of employment

  • Class 5 BC Driver's License with a clean abstract is required

    Physical aspects include but are not limited to:

  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift

  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs

  • Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting

  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
