Job Description

Room Attendant

You are at the heart of the hotel! As a Room Attendant, you will take ownership of guest rooms, ensuring that our guests are provided with a clean, comfortable space, and be a part of creating a memorable experience for them. 

We are looking for candidates to start in June/July 2024.

Pay Rate:

$19.00 per hour

What you will be doing:

  • Clean all assigned guestrooms to standard

  • Take initiative to add a personalized experience for the guest

  • Take ownership of guests’ privacy and belongings, while ensuring exceptional service

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Previous housekeeping experience is an asset

  • Excellent organization skills and time management

  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision

  • Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming 

Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following:

  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift

  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 40+ lbs

  • Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting

  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps

Additional Information

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
