RINKE CUSTOM HARVESTING, LLP Agricultural Equipment Operator in Wheaton, Minnesota

Need 20 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operators to work in Wheaton, MN., and in Lake, South Dakota. From: 02/15/2024 to 12/14/2024 Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 8 hrs./day. As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. A general work week is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. However, because of the complexity of the crop conditions workers may be requested to work long days as well as on Saturdays, Sundays or Federal Holidays, depending upon the conditions of the commodities being produced. Therefore, hours above 40 per week may be offered but are not guaranteed. JOB DUTIES: Set, operate and maintain farming equipment to prepare, plant, harvest and haul grain & crops. Operate self-propelled custom class harvesting machines to harvest a variety of grain and silage crops. Adjust speed of cutters, blowers, conveyors, and height of cutting head using hand tools. Change cutting head as appropriate for crops. Drive trucks to transport product to elevator or storage area. Drive transporter truck to haul harvesting equipment between work locations. Service machinery and make in-field repairs. Operate equipment to cultivate crops and till ground. General maintenance to farm and facility structures. Itinerary: EXPECTED ITINERARY: MN - 02/15/2024 - 12/14/2024 SD - 03/01/2024 - 12/14/2024 WAGES: MN - $18.50/hour SD - $18.32/hour JOB REQUIREMENTS: 6 months experience, verifiable employment references, able to work for the entire itinerary and join the employer at any one of the locations that the employer has a crew located at that time; Class D License within 30 days of hire; no minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
