The Service Product Manager is responsible for enabling service operational and commercial success of defined product groups by supporting product development, commercial launch excellence, and lifecycle management. This role reports directly to the Director Global Service Product Management and will be fully onsite out of either the Wetzlar or Mannheim offices.

What you'll do:

  • Develop strong market and customer understanding through VOC to identify customer pain points and define valuable features and product requirements for new or existing products.

  • Represent service within product development process to ensure technical design for service supports operational and commercial success.

  • Manage service risk and opportunities of product portfolio throughout product lifecycle.

  • Coordinate between project management, product management, R&D, operations, supply chain, global service functions, and regional service teams to drive NPI projects forward.

    Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical competency with 5+ years experience in customer facing service, product management, or strategic marketing role, preferably in the life science industry.

  • Ability to collaborate and coordinate across multi-national, multi-function team in a large matrix organization.

  • Ability to actively manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently.

  • Ability to translate market, customer and internal service requirements into clear and concrete product design characteristics as well as commercial strategies.

  • Very good communication skills in English
