    Who is Barkbus?

    We are dog-loving entrepreneurs and creatives building a community of world-class grooming talent. Our goal is to end traumatic trips to the grooming salon by providing a safe and stress-free mobile grooming experience.

    About the Role

  • Focus on providing luxury 1 on 1 care to pups every day while working independently in our Hanvey grooming vans.

  • Enjoy the ongoing support of our in-house concierge and fleet teams that handle scheduling and van maintenance so you can just groom.

  • Fall in love with grooming again with a manageable daily schedule while focusing on safety and quality with every appointment.

    Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly rates (not commission) because of our drive for quality, not quantity.

  • Hourly pay between $28 - 38/hr (base + tips)

  • Typical monthly earnings are between $5,000 - $7,000

  • Bonus opportunity up to $1,000 a month!

    Role Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of professional dog grooming experience

  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

  • Ability to lift and groom pups up to 75 lbs

    Interview Process

  • Phone call with recruiter (30 min - to learn about you and tell you about Barkbus)

  • Video call with Grooming Mgr (30-45 min - to learn more about you and for you to ask questions about day-to-day work)

  • On-site Technical Groom (to test your skills and let you check out our van)

  • Offer Letter + Background Check

  • Start Date + Onboarding (structure 2-week plan to set you up for success)
