Kelly Services Chemist in Weston, Florida

Kelly Scientific is seeking a Chemist in Weston, FL.

Direct Hire

Shift : M- F 2:30pm-11pm

Compensation: $70K/year DOE

Required experience:

  • Proficient with HPLC, Titrations, Karl Fisher Titration, Loss on Drying, Viscometer and other techniques.

  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure that all equipment calibrations are up to date.

  • Experience writing SOPs and STPs.

  • Support R&D activities and protocol execution as needed

  • Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to HPLC and other lab equipment

  • Conformance testing of failed analysis (OOS), write & perform area investigations as needed

  • Raw material testing, and finish product testing as needed

  • Raw material specification review

  • Testing and approval of raw materials, and extension reviews of raw material

  • Data review and timely release of raw materials, bulk product and finished product

  • Provide timely consolidated reports to the Quality Manager

  • Other duties as determined by the Quality Manager


  • Preferably a bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in chemistry or related field

  • 1-2 years of experience in a Quality Control Laboratory environment.

  • Familiarity with FDA and CFR, as well as other regulated industries.

  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Must be available for flexible hours.
