What You Will Do You'll be part of a team developing semi-autonomous steering and automatic solutions for off-highway industrial machinery in the agriculture and construction industry industries, which help feed and build the world around us. Join our innovative Control System Development team as a Software Developer, where your primary mission will be to enhance and support the integration and effectiveness of our ECU (Electronic Control Unit) platforms. In this role, you will focus on build automation, development tools, and overall software integration, providing crucial support to our control system engineers. As a Software Developer you'll have the opportunity not only to work on new construction and agriculture technologies but also to grow professionally and personally within the team and actively foster a supportive and innovative work environment.

ECM Platform Integration: Assist in the integration of new software and hardware into existing ECM platforms. Ensuring compatibility and optimizing performance.

Build Automation: Develop and maintain automation processes to streamline our build systems, enhancing productivity and reducing manual errors. Design and develop automated test cases.

Development Tools: Create and refine tools that aid the control system engineers in their day to day tasks, ensuring they have the best resources at their disposal.

Collaborative Support: Work closely with control system engineers, understanding their software needs, and work to provide solutions that help bridge the gap between theory and practical software application.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

5+ Years experience in software development, with a strong background in build automation, automated testing frameworks and tool development

Experience building and deploying infrastructure with cloud deployment technologies (e.g. AWS)

Proficiency with object-oriented programming (C++) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Matlab)

Advanced troubleshooting (e.g. CAN/TCP IP Comm stack) and debugging skills (at software and hardware level)

Fundamental understanding of operating systems and interprocess communication (IPC) mechanisms

Experience with ECM platforms or similar integrated control systems is highly desirable

Experience with SW design patterns, software modeling (UML), and test driven development (TDD)

Team oriented mindset, with a track record of enhancing team effectiveness through technical support and innovation

Version Control Systems (Git) experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong problem solving abilities and a mind for innovative thinking

What Skills & Experience You Could Bring

Control systems development experience (or demonstrated high-level understanding of theory)

Working knowledge and Application of Test Automation Methodologies

Ability to travel (including international) up to 10% per year
