Receiving Parts & Material

Check e-mail for status of overnighted items and determine priority for receiving product. Assess the condition of the box or package and record on the shipper the location and condition of any visible damage. Count the parts and verify that the count and part number match the pack and attach in ERP to ensure traceability. Verify that package contains the required certifications and paperwork and notify Procurement if it is missing for corrective action. Accurately receive each item into ERP receiving in each line item on the PO and scan and attach certificates. Receive dock to stock items evaluating and counting parts and stamp paperwork to indicate receipt. Properly route dock to stock parts to inventory and all others to Quality for inspection.

Picking Parts

Provide back-up for pulling Material Orders when needed (see Material Handler I Position Expectation).

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED. Previous receiving or parts pulling experience. Basic math skills. Computer literacy with ERP program, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
