Maxar is seeking an Aerospace Supervisor to become a member of our Aerospace Terminals team in St. Louis, MO or Remote. As a valued team member, you will assist our customers in executing their worldwide mission with expert understanding and collection of their data.

As a member of the Aerospace leadership team you will have direct reports, be responsible for maintaining the budget and schedule, and still perform aerospace analyst duties.

Responsibilities: Demonstrate effective leadership and people management skills, including performance assessment, training, career development, and recognition/disciplinary actions for aeronautical team members. Effectively maintain production schedules and budgets, provide necessary document and reports, and be the POC for interactions with the customer. Duties include but are not limited to, converting worldwide aeronautical data into digital and graphic formats for use in flight operations in accordance with product spe Analyze and evaluate aeronautical chart products and aeronautical information publications Create and maintain digital procedure coding for terminal instrument flight procedures and aeronautical chart products Maintain a good working knowledge of international aeronautical and flight procedure practices. Ensure all production quality processes are followed at all times. Coordinate with team to ensure any required data corrections or non-conformances are properly resolved Contribute as a team member with the production and updating of aeronautical charts

Minimum Qualifications: Must be a U.S. Citizen Bachelor's degree in aeronautical/aviation, GIS, or related field; or equivalent and relevant Aeronautical experience to include a Private Pilot's license with an Instrument Rating, Air Traffic Controller or other related career fields.

Preferred Skills: Previous management or leadership roles and/or responsibilities Air navigation and aviation industry experience is desirable but not essential Previous procedure plate creation or procedure coding isHIGHLYdesirable Experience in production or use of instrument approach procedures (IAP), standard instrument departures (SID), standard terminalsarrival routes (STAR), and en-route charts. Ability to perform QC review of other's work to confirm compliance with specifications Interest in the aviation industry a definite asset Demonstrated computer proficiency Strong time management, multi-tasking. and organizational skills Effective communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to perform a detail-oriented task Ability to review source data and request clarification of source and specification issues as identified.

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate's unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:$95,000.00 - $157,000.00 annually.
