Description

MAIN FUNCTION:

  • The transportation of clients, executives and guests of Seafield Center as directed.

  • User role(s) information systems access as assigned, where applicable

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Carrying out of all valid transportation requests on a timely and reliable basis.

  • Running miscellaneous errands, making deliveries as directed.

  • Responsible for maintenance, upkeep and appearance of assigned vehicle.

  • Driving cautiously in a safe manner at all times.

  • Reporting any difficulties or problems to Transportation Coordinator

  • Appropriate business attire required when working.

  • Be familiar with duties of a Therapy Aide

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

    COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Map Reading/GPS

  • Safety Policies

  • Program Knowledge

  • Vehicle Operations

  • Cellular Phone Usage

  • Emergency Response

  • Problem Client Response

    EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school education or equivalent; 5 years driving experience, attendance in a recovery program, clean valid Class4 license; CPR certified recommended.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • The physical demands described here are representative of those functions that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to twist, bend, push, pull, lift, kneel, reach, stoop, crawl and climb stairs.

  • The employee is frequently required to use hands to grasp or feel and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned and makes general observations.

  • The worker is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside.

    Salary: $17.00-$18.00 / Hour
