Pallet Jack Operator Westfield, MA 01085 Job Number: CD3184489417 Pay Rate: \$18 / hour Forklift Operator & Pallet Jack Operator Hamilton Connections is hiring Forklift Operators for a logistics company located in Westfield, MA. We are looking for skilled pallet jack & forklift operators to load/unload trailers & move pallets throughout the facility. This is a very fast paced warehouse environment so prior experience is required. You will be operating a pallet jack & forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. The company is growing and looking to expand their logistics staff! Hours are Sunday - Thursday 4pm - 12:30am \$18/hr. Responsibilities Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities Skills Proven experience as pallet jack & forklift operator Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment Excellent physical condition and coordination Job Duties: Load and unload trucks Move and stack materials Perform proper forklift inspections and follow pallet jack & forklift operating guidelines and procedures This Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is: Dependable--more reliable then spontaneous People-oriented -- enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects Detail-oriented -- would rather focus on the details of work than the bigger picture High stress tolerance -- thrives in a high-pressure environment You may also call your local Hamilton Connections office to speak with a recruiter and arrange an appointment.
