Honeywell Industrial Maintenance Technician in Westfield, Massachusetts

The industrial maintenance technician role described requires a high level of proficiency in managing on-site installation, servicing, and repair processes for complex industrial automation equipment. This individual must be proactive in updating work instructions, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and providing customer training and technical support. Additionally, a strong technical background is essential, as the role involves addressing electrical, mechanical, and control-related issues on customers' systems, showcasing the technician's multifaceted expertise and dedication to high-quality service.

Shift Available:

  • Key 3: 5:00am - 5:30pm Friday/Saturday/Sunday (12-hour days) + extra 4 hours sometime during the week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems

  • Completing work orders on a computerized maintenance management system software

  • Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems

  • Provide customer support

MUST HAVE:

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent.

  • 1+ year experience with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.

WE VALUE:

  • Previous industry experience

  • Previous conveyor troubleshooting experience.

  • Previous technical/installation experience

  • Previous customer service experience

  • Good written and oral communication

  • Ability to follow instructions and identify mistakes.

  • Bachelor’s degree or technical/professional certificate
