    SCHEDULE / OVERVIEW

  • $17-$21

  • Monday – Friday

  • 40+ Hours a week

  • Overtime after 40 hours

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Daily review of trucks-Yard inspection: Check tires, check for loose bolts, chafed hydraulic lines, check/fill fluids as needed, document any damage not reported by road crew after post-trip check

  • Weekly, or as needed, cleaning and diagnosis/repair of small equipment

  • Weekly replacement of filters on crash trucks; make sure radiators are clean

  • Assist with filling trucks with road striping materials.

  • Responsible for loading and unloading trucks.

  • Assist with general maintenance of yard.

  • Ensure all safety policies and incident reporting procedures are followed, bring problems to the attention of the Shop Foreman and Safety Director

  • Clean and prepare trucks for winter service

  • General assistance in shop as required

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Valid drivers license required.

  • DOT med card required

  • Trade School and/or automotive training (Preferred but not required)

  • CDL (Preferred but not required)

  • Forklift certificate (Preferred but not required)
