Spurwink Services has an exciting opportunity for an LCSW, LCPC, LMSW-CC, or LCPC-C to join our Greater Portland Clinical team and work with children and adolescents who attend our residential treatment site in Westbrook (right on the Portland line). Spurwink uses evidence-based treatment models and is known for providing extensive training and supervisory support for our clinicians. The youth in our programs have an array of diagnoses and presenting concerns allowing clinicians to build a strong clinical skill set over time. You will be a part of creating and sustaining groups, providing individual and family therapy and coaching educational and residential staff to provide milieu-based treatment. Clinicians' build-up to a caseload of 8 clients. Typically, youth are working on building regulation, communication, social, and daily living skills. Spurwink uses an integrated treatment model, allowing you to work closely with OT, speech, nursing, psychiatry, teachers, and direct care staff to provide the best services possible for each youth and family. Come help guide children and their loved ones through the hurdles of everyday life, all while making a real, lasting impact in your community.

The starting salary is $65,000 for clinicians with a conditional license, higher for fully licensed clinicians. Opportunities to earn at least $5,000 more in annual bonuses/stipends per year. If this sounds interesting and you are a creative and motivated individual, we want to talk with you!

    DUTIES:

    Job duties include conducting psychosocial assessments, individual treatment planning for clients, individual and group therapy with children, and observation of our clients in their natural environments to gather data relative to their behavior, performance, and response to their environment. Further responsibilities include consulting with treatment team members, social brokerage, submission of Kepro managed care entries for Maine clients, clinical documentation, and discharge and transition planning.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Maine State LMSW-cc or equivalent required. LCSW/LCPC preferred. New graduates considered. Supervision provided.
