Tutor Doctor STEM Tutor SAT/ACT Test prep preferable in Westborough, Massachusetts

Job Summary: Tutor Doctor of SWNGS is seeking a highly qualified and experienced STEM Tutor to join our team. As a Tutor, you will be responsible for providing individualized instruction and academic support to students of various age groups and educational levels. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and the ability to connect with students on an individual level. This position will involve providing one-on-one instruction to students in their homes/online or at a designated location. Responsibilities: * Tailor lessons to meet the individual needs and learning styles of each student. * Provide instruction in mathematics, including algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics. * Teach science subjects such as biology, chemistry, physics, and computer science. * Prepare students for standardized tests such as the SAT and ACT, including test-taking strategies and practice exams. * Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly. * Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on student performance and address any concerns. * Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment conducive to academic success. Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, Science or a related field. * Minimum of 1 year of experience in tutoring or teaching SAT/ACT test prep. * In-depth knowledge of the SAT/ACT exams. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Familiarity with curriculum development and educational resources. * Ability to work with students of all ages and academic levels. * Patient, positive, and enthusiastic attitude towards teaching. * Reliable transportation to travel to and from students’ homes.
