Wet Valley NY CH2M HILL BWXT West Valley, LLC (CHBWV) is the prime contractor selected by the U.S. Department of Energy to manage the Phase 1 Facility Disposition Project at the West Valley Demonstration Project. The site is a scenic 30-minute drive south of Buffalo, New York. In cooperation with the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, CHBWV continues to decontaminate and decommission facilities at this site. The engineer will be required to perform and direct a wide variety of engineering and technical duties. The work requires extensive knowledge and application of engineering techniques, principles, and practices employed in the discipline area of assignment. Trouble shoot, evaluate, and develop solutions for mechanical systems and components to include but not limited to ventilation/HVAC, pneumatic, water/piping, and demolition process. Evaluate and develop solutions for structural components including those associated with the Main Plant Process Building Demolition process. The work requires knowledge and application of engineering techniques, principles, and practices employed in the area of assignment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS A. Education/Experience: Bachelors of Science or Technology degree in applicable engineering discipline from an accredited program A minimum of six (6) years of professional engineering experience. Graduate degree in engineering may be substituted for some experience. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. Pay based on experience. B.
