Annual Salary: $71,312 + 1,500 w/Masters Stipend $72,812

    Responsibilities: The Career and Technical Education Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating programming for Career and Technical Education Division under the direction of CTE Director. The CTE Coordinator plans, organizes and implements career and technical educational services, in accordance with Federal, State and local laws and rules. Work is performed under the general supervision of the CTE Director.

    Specific Duties: 1. Responsible for all aspects of the E1B CTE Staff Development Days including: coordination, planning, implementation, budget and accountability in collaboration with CTE teachers and building administration.

    1. Works with Director to implement new initiatives into CTE programming. (technology, literacy, e-portfolios, certifications, pathways)

    2. Responsible for in collaboration with Exceptional Education designee, all aspects of E1B Professional Development Plan including: organizing, implementing and preparation of submittals.

    3. Responsible for in collaboration with Exceptional Education designee, all aspects of E1B District Required Plan including: organizing, implementing and preparation of submittals in Frontline and securing developers to provide PD

    4. Responsible for in collaboration with Exceptional Education designee, all aspects of E1B Mentor/Intern program including: organizing, implementing and preparation of mentors and interns trainings, assignments with approval by M/I committee.

    5. Responsible for implementation of the annual student assessment and program data analysis as mandated by the state and federal requirements related to teacher, principal evaluations and program approvals.

    6. Responsible for all aspects of the E1B CTE Curriculum Mapping to include integrated academics, CFM (Career and Financial Management), national assessment alignment and standards in Atlas.

    7. Represent CTE in Curriculum Council

    8. Serve as a board member on the WNY Teacher Center

    9. Participate in WNY BOCES – Teach to Lead Initiative

    10. Facilitate New CTE Teacher Focus Group

    11. Participate in the NYS SED required CLNA (Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment) process

    12. Coordinate all College Articulation Agreements, Dual Enrollments and Faculty Adjuncts for continued approval

    13. Assists with the Program Approval Self Study and External Reviews

    14. Coordinate Advisory Council Meetings and Agendas for Facilitators including data collection for Program Approvals.

    15. Meets with CTE Outreach Specialist on recruitment materials.

    16. Meets with CTE Liaison Specialist to review college articulation agreements

    17. Ensures Employability profiles meet CTE program approval standards

    18. Other duties as assigned.
