ManpowerGroup Engineer II -(Associate) in West Point, Pennsylvania

Job Title: Engineer II

Duration: 3-Month Contract (with potential to extend based on performance)

Location: ONSITE - 770 Sumneytown Pike, West Point, PA 19486

Hours: M-F 8:00am - 5:00pm

Looking for Package development experience.

Qualifications:

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • B.S. or higher degree in Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Packaging Engineering, Packaging Science, or Pharmaceutical Science.

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Strong technical writing skills, including authoring protocols and executing studies.

  • Package development experience (focused on development rather than package shop floor/manufacturing).

  • Understanding of package development process and engineering principles.

  • Demonstrated experience in building collaborative partnerships.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent project management skills.

  • Ability to make disciplined, rapid decisions.

Position Description:

The successful candidate will focus on package development for the delivery of traditional pharmaceuticals (oral solid dosage & sterile products) and provide input to primary and secondary packaging definition and package systems qualifications. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the creation of registration samples for new products in collaboration with artwork and labeling teams as part of Filing and Launch Readiness activities.

Packaging Responsibilities:

  • Providing input regarding the selection of primary packaging material.

  • Determining package images to support commercialization and leading the execution of distribution qualification efforts regarding the testing robustness of packages.

  • Authoring packaging specifications for primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging.

  • Providing information to support relevant sections of NDAs, WMAs, and JNDAs.

  • Interfacing with packaging component suppliers, Global Packaging Technology Operations, Packaging Site Operations, and Contract Manufacturing Operations.
