Job Summary

For our West Point, GA facility you will manage the delivery of software projects within the organization. Analyze business issues, define requirements, design applications, and recommend automated system controls and protocols to solve organizational information issues. Work closely with end users to analyze, define, model, and document systems requirements. Develop and enforce project delivery standards and establishing the organization's approach to the full life cycle of projects, from planning, initiation, resourcing, execution, monitoring, control, and completion. Track and provide project status and audit reports; manage the risk, issue, and change resolution process and work with other leaders to take corrective action as necessary. Work across teams to define project priorities and implementation opportunities and challenges. Be responsible for hiring, performance appraisals, and pay reviews. Broad knowledge of the field with proven leadership skills. Determine operational objectives, gather information, and evaluate output requirements and formats.

Job Responsibilities

  • Through a wide range of business knowledge, be able to serve as a key resource to coordinate, resolve SAP issues, and ensure all aspects of SAP flow properly by thoroughly understanding the integration associated with SAP ERP functionality.

  • Maintain SCM (SD/PP/MM/PM) system support along with meaningful metrics to measure and guide continuous improvement to meet changing needs and requirements.

  • Work to plan and execute projects, ensure that teams have appropriate technical specifications, direction, and resources to deliver products effectively by establishing realistic estimates for timelines while ensuring that projects remain on target to meet deadlines.

  • Interact directly with the client to manage expectations for the deployment of system enhancements, daily maintenance issues and fixes.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members to their optimum performance levels and career development along with regular status meetings

  • Help functional consultants resolve problems both technical as well as human resources issues, tracking and approving vacation and personal days for employees and monitoring individual employees performance and relaying this to upper management.

  • Review and approve detailed technical specifications for application incidents problems and changes and resolve/escalate issues in a timely manner.

  • Ensure adherence to change control policies and audit guidelines and perform all other duties as assigned by management.

    Required Skills, Attributes & Education

  • Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in SAP SCM (SD/PP/MM/PM) configuration.

  • Minimum 3+ years of management/leadership experience.

  • Strong knowledge of SCM (SD/PP/MM/PM) processes.

  • SCM integration with FI/CO/HR.

  • Desirable to have SCM experience with FI/CO/HR integration.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Excellent analytical skills.

  • Superior problem-solving skills

  • Ability to interface with all levels of management.

  • Project Management skills.

  • CPIM / PMP preferred.

    Salary Range:  $105,000 to $140,000/yr. (D.O.E.)
