Job Summary:

Provides technical leadership and is responsible for establishing the direction for maintenance, standards, life-cycle management, design and implementation approaches for the company's servers and/or related infrastructure.

Creates, evaluates and implements plans and design proposals for high impact IT solutions and their use involving leading edge technologies and methods considering key factors such as their long-term effectiveness (service delivery and cost), practicality, technical limitations, criticality, and coordinates with Headquarters. Leads or contributes to designs applied to all aspects of servers and/or related infrastructure prototypes and eventual implementation. Performs work of high complexity and derives logical processes based on technical platforms. Engages in performance/integration testing, problem analysis, business and technical analysis.

Work Hours: For the most part it will be 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm.

Team Size: Presently it's 3 but this hire makes it 4.

Job Responsibilities:

Technical (75%)

 

  • Perform Windows PC OS, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager Administration.

  • Manage assigned tasks and quickly respond to and process Helpdesk tickets using ITSM in a timely and reliable manner.

  • Install, maintain, setup, troubleshoot and configure PCs, laptops, networked printers.

  • Configure, manage, and deploy software updates to required groups.

  • Report on software installations and statuses across the networks.

  • Maintain Windows 10 feature upgrades through MECM/SCCM.

  • Can effectively create custom MECM/SCCM reports.

  • PowerShell experience and knowledge.

  • Manage assigned tasks and quickly respond to and process Help Desk tickets using ServiceNow.

  • Support Help Desk personnel and Administrators as required

  • Monitor/Resolve Windows PC performance, health and security issues.

  • Develop/test and analyze new technical solutions to problems.

  • Create Active Directory; M365, MS Exchange email, File & Print shares for new users.

  • Detect, diagnose and troubleshoot PC malfunctions.

  • Provide all aspects of user account management from creation to deletion.

  • Other duties as may be required.

     

Project Management (25%)

 

  • Manage a large portfolio of projects, tasks, issues and systems.

  • Manage projects from initial requirement stage on through completion stage, ensuring appropriate documentation and completion.

  • Conduct/Lead formal project meetings with team, other departments, and customers.

     

Required Skills, Attributes & Education:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or similar majors is preferred.

  • At least 5 years of experience in Information Technology.

  • At least 2 recent years of experience in the administration of Microsoft AD (Active Directory) and Windows 365 account administration.

  • Ability to think logically and to analyze issues and implement appropriate solutions.

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

  • Ability to plan, organize, coordinate work assignments.

  • Ability to complete projects on time.

  • Can work well in a team environment.

  • Ability to interact positively with internal and external customers.

  • Solid to Exceptional skills and experience in Microsoft Endpoint Manager Administration/Configuration.

  • Technical Certification A+ is a +.

  • Travel: Willingness to travel to and from both our West Point, GA and Montgomery, AL facilities. 

Salary Range:   Roughly $74,500 to $80,000
