Community Support Specialists - SUD help individuals develop skills, access resources, and learn to self-manage illnesses in order to be successful in life, work, education, and social settings. Community Support Specialists teach, model, and practice skills with persons served in order to increase self-sufficiency and independence. They provide daily, direct, and indirect services to an assigned caseload; meeting with the person served where they are at in order to assist the individual with daily living skills, educating them regarding diagnosis and treatment, accessing services and resources as needed including financial assistance, medical assistance, housing assistance, crisis services, and meeting their immediate needs of food, clothing, and shelter.

This position will be working with our Substance Use Disorder (SUD) program. Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work or other mental health field preferred
