Military Engines is seeing a qualified and energetic Materials Analyst to support F135 module maintenance and overhaul in West Palm Beach, FL. The key responsibilities include on-timing kitting, management and/or prevention of material workstoppages and turnbacks, ensuring effective forward supply, and minimizing TAT on late Gate call-ups.


  • Coordinate material orders, delivery, and tracking on shop floor

  • Partner with shop floor operations to ensure all part requirements are properly and accurately identified at the close of Gate 1 / disassembly / bench inspection (BX)

  • Track all material required for Gate 2 (parts requirements) for kitting and ensure kitting is completed in a timely manner

  • Provide materials support for Gate 3 (assembly), including late Gate 3 call-ups, as needed

  • Participate in material review meetings, update weekly and monthly statuses for materials, and identify / speak through specific material issues for WPB, as needed

  • Use SAP to reconcile parts, coordinate part swaps and exchanges, reconcile Kit Carts, perform research on material, and process orders

  • Monitor inventory levels (including kit & bin) against agreed-upon target levels

  • Drive continuous improvement projects to mitigate and/or eliminate material workstoppages, turnbacks, and/or late Gate call-ups

Basic Qualifications:

  • Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree (technical or business); logistics / supply chain focus preferred

  • 2+ years of related experience in materials, preferably supply chain, logistics, and/or purchasing/contracts; Aviation industry experience preferred

  • SAP experience

  • Strong organizational, teaming, and interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and effectively interface at all organizational levels

  • Detail and results-oriented with good problem-solving skills

  • Demonstrated experience with [continuous] process improvement, e.g. ACE, Six Sigma, or Lean; ACE Associate preferred

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
