Job Title: Civil 3D CAD Tech

Job Description

We are currently seeking an AutoCAD/Civil 3D Design Technician. This role will utilize Civil 3D to assist the engineering staff with the design of civil engineering projects and plan production. Responsibilities include Civil 3D pipe networks and profiles, drainage design and analysis, pressure pipe networks, and terrain modeling to compute earthwork volumes from generated surfaces. You will provide design drawings and supporting technical data for project design, ensuring proper dimensioning, completeness of material quantities and specifications, and adherence to regulatory codes. You will also utilize 2D and 3D CAD skills and engineering tools for the production of design deliverables, including drawings and material take-offs for overall civil projects. Effective communication of work status and information needs with the project team, as well as identifying and addressing technical inconsistencies and contract scope changes, are crucial aspects of this role.
