Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Mechanical Engineer opportunity in West Milton, NY.Our company is looking for a Mechanical Engineer member to join our Shipping Container Recapitalization team. The Mechanical Engineer member will perform engineering evaluations in support of the design, analysis, or testing of a new radiological shipping container or shipping container support equipment. Responsibilities may include sponsoring test programs, performing elastic and elastic-plastic structural analysis, developing designs and engineering drawings, performing alignment & tolerance studies (fit-up analysis) or developing design specifications. The engineer should have experience with mechanical equipment design, structural analysis, or testing.
