  1. Must meet all the criteria for an SOS Off-Bearer [reference Off-Bearer Job Desription]
  2. Perform quality checks in accordance with the SOS inspection procedure, checking for bag dimensional tolerance and glue uniformity, and general bag integrity
  3. Know how to perform and with what frequency quality checks must be performed to ensure consistent bag quality through the order
  4. Develop understanding of what could be considered bad print and the procedures to follow when potentially bad print is identified
  5. Change paper and film rolls, confirming correct type, basis weight, and width
  6. Assist with accurate documentation and production data reporting
  7. Assist operator in the execution efficient change-overs with no damage to equipment
  8. Begin learning the fundamentals of SOS machine setup and operation, including:
    1. Reading orders to determine appropriate materials and setup steps
    2. Understanding the function of all buttons, controls, and mechanical adjustments, roll stands, lamination section
    3. Understanding of print cutoff marks, eye marks, and print register marks and how each are used to fold and cut the tubes properly
    4. Understanding the setup steps for each section of the machine
  9. Weigh scrap accurately at the end of the shift and records on the report
  10. Maintain a clean work area and safely and pro-actively assist with machine cleanup
