Mountain Heights Academy Full-time Special Education Teacher for the 24/25 School Yr. in WEST JORDAN, Utah

An online free public charter school is now accepting applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE) Special Education Teacher for the upcoming school year.

Mountain Heights Academy is a tuition-free, online public charter school available to all Utah students in grades 7 -- 12. Founded in 2009, Mountain Heights Academy is the leader in digital education, known for high standardized test scores, unparalleled teacher interaction, and personalized instruction. Coursework is divided into weekly modules, which empowers students with the freedom to complete their assignments when and where they choose within each week.

Faculty meets twice a month on average at the West Jordan office for professional development opportunities and student activities.

Qualified candidates will hold a valid Utah K-12 Special Education teaching license with appropriate endorsements. Strong computer and technology skills are essential for this position; as is a personable demeanor. Prior experience teaching in a virtual classroom, or online is a plus.
