Job Details Requirements: HS Diploma/GED Required Must have some physician billing experience Experience working in a medical practice is preferred Accurately register patient demographics to include insurance information, insurance verification, and email addresses for MyChart Ability to interpret third party coverage to patients Responsible for patient referrals and pre-certification/authorization for outpatient tests and/or inpatient procedures Communicate with other ancillary staff for proper insurance requirements EPIC deposit tool: reconcile daily copayments and complete weekly cash deposit Serve as a resource for staff including all aspects of billing Handle patient billing inquiries Collect patient copayments Charge Entry Support Front Desk with Checking Patients In/Out and Answering Phones as needed May be assigned additional duties as needed Salary Range USD $21.33 - USD $29.86 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and position location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
