Job Description
THIS ROLE IS REMOTE IN LATAM (candidates located in Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Peru are preferred)*
A client of ours in the streaming space is seeking a strong Sr. Concept Artist to join the Emerging Experiences group within the larger Front-End Engineering vertical/org. You will get the opportunity to partner and collaborate with Engineers and 3D Artists to deliver immersive 3D experiences/solutions on VR/AR devices, such as Oculus and Vision Pro devices (i.e. for the streaming service/content this client provides). You will be responsible for working on existing projects that are ongoing, and the creation of additional environments which will need to be developed/included for future releases.
Responsibilities Include:
-Create unique and exciting concept art for stylized environments and characters
-Produce sketches and detailed renderings of props, turnarounds for character, creature studies, and individual environmental details
-Work closely with Art, Design, and Production to ensure successful delivery and execution of work
-Curate mood boards, curate references, and illustrate original and detailed environment concepts working with design
-Contribute creative new ideas and be forward-thinking in your designs
-Experience adopting and working within different art styles
-Understanding of mood, lighting, form, shape, and silhouette in regard to composition
-Demonstrated knowledge to conceptualize ideas through development from rough thumbnails to polished final deliverables, and an understanding of translating these ideas to real-time content
-Assist Pluto TV product design team on application design

Skills and Requirements
THIS ROLE IS REMOTE IN LATAM (candidates located in Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Peru are preferred)*
-Must have portfolio or art-station link on resume (i.e. must show examples of environment design, different design angles, character design, etc.)
-2-3+ years of experience as a Concept Artist, specifically in games
-Ability to digitally iterate quickly through thumbnails, sketches, roughs, and to take concepts all the way to a rendered color final as needed
-Ability to work with the following subject manner across a variety of genres, such as environments (i.e., biomes, architecture, etc.)
-Excellent foundational art skills in areas such as architecture, shape language, color, composition, lighting, perspective, and communicating clear emotional tone, with a stronger focus on creative problem solving via iterative concept art over polished renderings or illustrations
-Solid understanding of current video game Concept Art processes and pipelines
-Familiar with commonly used game engines such as Unity or Unreal
-Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop with an emphasis on drawing, painting, and image-making
-Ability to block out ideas in 3D as well as 2D depending on the needs of the task
-Ability to generate ideas and take ownership of the assigned tasks quickly

-Experience integrating UI assets into Unity or other game engines
-Proficiency in UI prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, or similar software
-Experience working with a VR product
-Multiple shipped titles as a concept artist including work in PC, console, and AAA development
-A diplomatic, empathetic, and collaborative approach with the rest of the team to help establish style guides and tackle environment production tasks null
