Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations to oversee the operational aspects of our medical business. As the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the overall operations of our healthcare organization, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while maintaining regulatory compliance and maximizing efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Strategy: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement operational strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

  2. Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, privacy laws, and accreditation standards. Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain regulatory compliance and ensure patient data security.

  3. Facility Management: Oversee the management of our medical facility, including maintenance, safety, and cleanliness. Ensure a comfortable and efficient environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

  4. Patient Care and Service Delivery: Work closely with clinical teams to optimize patient care and service delivery processes. Streamline patient flow, appointment scheduling, and ensure a positive patient experience throughout their journey.

  5. Supply Chain and Inventory Management: Manage the procurement, inventory, and distribution of medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and equipment. Establish relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and implement inventory control measures to ensure availability and cost-effectiveness.

  6. Revenue Cycle Management: Oversee the billing, coding, and reimbursement processes. Collaborate with finance and billing departments to optimize revenue cycle operations, manage denials, and ensure accurate financial reporting.

  7. Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and outcomes. Monitor performance indicators, conduct audits, and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

  8. Information Technology and Electronic Health Records (EHR): Collaborate with IT to ensure effective use of technology systems, including electronic health records. Implement and optimize EHR systems, maintain data security and privacy, and leverage technology to improve operational efficiency.

  9. Staff Management and Development: Lead and manage the operations team, including administrative staff, clinical staff, and support personnel. Recruit and train staff, set performance expectations, and foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

    • Proven experience as a Director of Operations or similar leadership role in the healthcare industry.

    • In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, privacy laws, and accreditation standards.

    • Strong understanding of medical facility operations, patient care processes, and revenue cycle management.

    • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.

    • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset.

    • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset to drive operational improvements.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

    • Proficiency in healthcare technology systems, including electronic health records and revenue cycle management software.
