responsibilities:

  • Have deep knowledge of Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), Electromagnetic Conduction (EMC), Lightning, and Environmental (ENV) activities.

  • Generate EMI, EMC, Lightning, and ENV test procedures.

  • Write technical reports related to EMI, EMC, Lightning, and ENV.

  • Work with various types of lab equipment, including meters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, amplifiers, antennas, injection cores, and data acquisition systems.

  • Communicate with internal customers and team members effectively.

  • Perform tests independently, either onsite or offsite.

  • Collaborate with engineers and managers from different disciplines, such as Systems, Electrical Design, Project, and Program Office.

  • Hold a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (an Associate's Degree may be considered).

  • Have more than 2 years of relevant experience in EMI, EMC, Lightning, and ENV testing and documentation (prior aerospace experience is preferred).

  • Possess familiarity with various EMI, EMC, Lightning test equipment.

  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Be willing to travel, including possible overnight stays at offsite test locations.

  • Capable of generating EMI Control Plans.

  • Able to generate EMI, EMC, Lightning Test Procedures.

  • Skilled in generating reports and presenting data to internal and external customers.

  • Familiarity with EMI, EMC, Lightning Standards in RTCA DO-160, MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-461.

  • Familiarity with ENV Standards in RTCA DO-160, MIL-STD 810.

  • Proficiency in using tile programs (customized scripts).

  • Familiarity with documentation tools such as MS Word/PowerPoint, Visio, Adobe, Nuance.

  • Proficiency in schedule tracking using MS Project.

  • Familiarity with internet tools such as SharePoint and Intranet.
