Construction Superintendent Job Summary:

The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction project while leading and managing the on-site construction team and overseeing all work on project. Position includes but not limited to ensuring quality standards are met and all safety regulations are adhered to on site.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Supporting the Project Managers in all tasks necessary.

Coordinate all prime contractors, Owner's vendors/installers, and field consultants.

Monitor work schedules and assignments

Communicate and enforce safety procedures and site rules

Duties/Responsibilities

Orderliness on site and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations

Ensure quality standards are met.

Liaison with inspection authorities

Create and maintain all project reports.

Maintain project schedules and ensure adherence to same.

Proactively look for innovative ways to improve delivery of projects through the Integrated Lean Project Delivery System incorporated by YII.

Understand the client's goals & objectives and key risks on a project that must be monitored.

Execute all projects in compliance with YII procedures.

Qualifications:

3+ years field experience in the commercial construction industry to include structural steel.

Proficiency with the following

MS Office Suite products (Word, Excel, etc.)

Blueprint reading – ability to interpret and build accordingly

Procore (preferred)

Bluebeam Revu (preferred)

Smartsheet (preferred)

Taking and uploading digital photographs

Excellent verbal and written communication and organization skills

Experienced in scheduling and reading Gantt Charts

Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

OHSA 10 or 30 Certification
