Summary:

The 3E Value Add Shop is focused on electrical assembly in support of 3E’s customer base. Our shop tasks range from soldering wires to assembling switch components to building complete wire harnesses. With the Value Add Shop our technicians are focused first on quality and second on quantity while completing various work orders. We are currently looking for Assemblers to join our team in building quality products for our diverse customers.

Reports to: Foreman

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Understand continuous improvement

  • Ability to lift and/or move 40 lbs.

  • Good eyesight with accurate color vision

  • Must have good dexterity with hands

  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed primarily in a shop. You will work around electricity and other potential hazards requiring appropriate safety equipment and practices at all times.

Supervisory Responsibilities: No

Essential Job Functions:

  • Wire jacket stripping

  • Crimping of wire harnesses

  • Soldering/tinning wires

  • Assembling cables

  • Braiding cables

  • Assembling components and sub-assemblies into control boxes

  • Ability to read and understand technical prints

  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations

  • Understand and follow wire and weld diagrams
