ASM Global Director of Venue Finance in West Conshohocken, Pennsylvania

This role leads the overall venue level transition and DOF coverage in the Americas. This role will provide temporary coverage as taskforce/floaters are needed. This individual will manage any exceptions to controls and policies within the region. This role actively leads the ongoing training of ERP and policies & procedures and plays an active role within ASM for venue transition (New opening, takeover, venue existing ASM Global). This role will ensure proper control environment across the venue in the region is maintained. This individual will work with all venue leadership teams, DOFs, ASM Corporate, ASM RVPs/VPs/SVPs, ASM Corporate Finance and accounting team, Regional DOFs, GovCon committee, and the ERP implementation project team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Venue DOF coverage and taskforce resource planning: Act as Director of Finance as needed for venues when there are DOF vacancies. Plan and direct, in partnership with Regional Directors of Finance on task force planning and support on need venues. Induct and train new DOFs from our venues as needed.

  • Transition and projects: Act as SME of Venue finance on projects and transitions for new venues, take over, exit of venues from ASM. Act as conduit on the transition project teams.

  • Business Best Practice: Lead and drive business best practice agenda across the venues. Stand up of best practice platforms for venues in the region.

  • ERP implementation and training: Manage and lead, in partnership with the corporate ERP project team to implement, training and rollout new ERP across the venues. Implementation of the new ERP will require write up of SOPs.

  • Policies and Procedures: Participate and represent Regional Policy committee and Policy and Procedures rewrite workgroup to review, discuss and approve (under the direction of SVP Finance) any changes to Policies and Procedures. Be the subject matter expert (SME) for processes and procedures at venue level.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.

  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ industry experience with at least three (3) of those years in a management function of an arena, convention center or stadium; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • CPA License required.
