ASM Global Corporate Tax Intern in West Conshohocken, Pennsylvania

Summary

We are looking for a Corporate Tax Intern, who can report to our corporate office in Conshohocken, PA. This person will be responsible for assisting with corporate tax compliance, calculating tax projections and quarterly income tax provisions, and responding to tax notices.

The timeline for this internship will take place between Tuesday, May 28th to approximately Friday, August 9th. This internship is part-time between 20-25 hours.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The responsibilities, will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist, gather information and prepare workpapers for 2023 U.S. Federal and state corporate income tax returns

  • Assist and gather information for quarterly corporate income tax provision

  • Assist with U.S. corporate estimated income tax payments

  • Update internal corporate income tax calendar with Federal, state, and international external due dates

  • Assist with calculating cash and accrual income tax projections

  • Assist with annual Foreign Bank Account Reporting filing requirements

  • Written or oral responses to Federal, state, and international tax notices

  • Interact with ASM Global’s Accounting, FP&A, Treasury and Legal departments as well as local venue Finance personnel for information gathering

  • Apply cross border transfer pricing and country withholding taxes issues

  • Ad hoc tax projects as needed

Desired Qualifications

  • Completion of undergraduate sophomore or junior year at an undergraduate college or university working towards a B.S. in Accounting

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word

  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills
