MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR OPPORTUNITY

At Three Rivers Behavioral Health, a 129 bed facility located in West Columbia, SC, we never forget that patients are people -- people with potential, who can have better relationships and live more productive lives. For those who seek a secure environment, healing, hope, treatment, and recovery, Three Rivers is the first place for a second chance. Three Rivers provides psychiatric, detoxification/rehabilitation, and dual diagnosis treatment through inpatient services for adolescents & adults. Our outpatient services include a Partial Hospitalization Program offering psychiatric day treatment for adults an Adult Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program offering day and evening sessions. Three Rivers Behavioral Health currently has a Full Time Maintenance Supervisor position available.

Responsibilities: Responsible for the ongoing, effective operation of the Maintenance Department in performing routine and preventive care of the physical plant and equipment. Ensures a safe, functional, physical environment for patients, employees, and visitors. Assist other support service departments as needed. The Maintenance Technician supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence standards to all customer groups.

    Qualifications

    The following are the job requirements for the Maintenance Supervisor position:

    Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent;

    Experience: Advanced training in an area of the trades preferred. One to two years of experience performing facility maintenance or in the trades required. Specific experience in a healthcare environment preferred.

    Licensure/Certification: Valid SC driver’s license

    Other: General experience in electrical, mechanical, plumbing and air conditioning with experience in repairs and maintenance. Must be available to work a rotating on-call maintenance schedule. Must be available during inclement weather to maintain drives and grounds to provide for uninterrupted and safe operations of the facility.
