  • Dispense and formulate raw materials and operate compounding equipment used in the formulation of a final sterile pharmaceutical product
  • Utilize job knowledge expertise when assisting with additional work duties or responsibilities as evident or required
  • Assist with additional work duties or responsibilities as evident or required

  • Adhere to primary accountabilities outlined in the Formulation Technician 2 job description
  • Take the lead on complex or specialized processes and take initiative to learn new processes or operation of new equipment in order to guide team members
  • Demonstrate complex troubleshooting skills and help to develop troubleshooting skills in coworkers
  • Assist and mentor more junior team members and trainees with questions regarding formulation operations and assist with training operations when required
  • As a subject matter expert, assist formulation leadership as needed
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding issues such as production delays, equipment failure, personnel issues or out of specifications

Minimum of

High School Diploma or equivalent with Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree highly preferred

5 years minimum experience with pharmaceutical compounding or 3 years of dual certification in 503B and NPC formulation activities required
