Back to Basics Learning Dynamics is seeking s candidate for a daytime Middle School and High School In Person Teacher with knowledge of various core subjects - math, social studies, science, for teaching in a correctional facility in the Wilmington, Delaware area.  The person should also possess a Special Education background to work with the students' varied abilities.  Join a team to make a difference!

Type: For for remainder of the 2023 - 2024 school year

Schedule: Daytime teacher position for the rest of the 2023-2024 school year. Hours, 8:00 - 4:00 p.m. 

Description/Clientele:  Middle School and High School Students, Grades 6 through 12

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, excluding student teaching, of grade levels being requested.

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree.

  • Have experience working in a correctional facility

  • Ability to teach both middle school and high school core subjects.  

  • Monitoring the completion of students' assignments

  • Must have experience in and proficiency with written documentation regarding lessons and student progress, as well as assignment grading.

  • Must be available for daytime teaching between the hours of 8:00 - 4:00 p.m.

  • Certification in Special Education is an absolute requirement for this position as well as core subject certification. Preferred dual certified, but not necessary
