Job Duties:

Our purpose is to create a safe and reliable world and our mission is to deliver assurance through precise technical and professional services.

Potentially travel to customer's facilities to run CMM programs or Program CMMs for customer's parts 50% of time

Perform extensive dimensional inspections in full capability dimensional inspection / metrology lab with Brown & Sharpe equipment

Program DCC-CMM using 2D drawings and 3D CAD models

Perform and prepare detailed reports with drawing maps for first article inspections, and a wide variety of other customer directed inspection protocols

Create work instructions and prepare for incoming inspections

Qualifications

5 Years Minimum CMM Programming experience is required

Must have extensive CMM Programming, full knowledge of CMM operation and dimensional inspection experience

Must have extensive knowledge of Zeiss Calypso CMM software or PC-DMIS CMM Software

Must be able to program using 2D Drawings and 3D CAD models

Complete understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) is a must

Must be able to accurately operate precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, etc.

Thorough knowledge of the requirements of ASME Y14.5-2009
