Actuarial Managers with VIAC Services Company (Venerable) in West Chester, PA. Perform valuations in US GAAP, Statutory, IFRS and Economic Model valuation frameworks for variable annuity. Lead experience studies to develop appropriate actuarial assumptions and model enhancements. Support roles in Finance or Risk, including valuation, hedging, assumptions, RBC, capital projections, or investment risk and analytics. Synthesize complex and unstructured data, prepare models and documentation, and summarize and present results to the broader team. Lead and develop solutions to adhoc requests and issues. Communicate with internal and external auditors, actuarial outsourcing partners and other vendors. Oversee and review the professional work of junior staff including actuarial interns. Work with various actuarial models and projection/valuation software, as well as programming tools including R, VBA, SQL, and Microsoft Excel.
