SUMMARY Compliance oriented job in federal, state and local and personal property tax. Research issues and document findings. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Prepares federal, state and local income tax returns, sales and use returns and property tax returns. • Prepares estimated tax payments and miscellaneous filing requirements as needed. • Complies with federal, state and local requirements by studying regulations, enforcing adherence to requirements, advising management on needed actions, communicating with attorneys, tax specialists to ensure timely tax requirements are met • Reviews fixed assets for tax compliance • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops or classes; reviewing professional publications • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing results as needed, including special projects.
