As an RF Engineer at Microwave Products Group - Pole/Zero Corporation in West Chester, OH, you will support the military community by designing hardware, analyzing data, and validating test fixtures & processes in support of co-site equipment production. Primary Responsibilities of this position Include: Design high reliability RF test architectures including fixtures and test racks/benches Work with engineers and technicians to review and optimize current testing processes Support standardization of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for engineering and production applications Review and implement solutions to leverage performance improvements of new technology Develop solutions to characterize product performance Utilize Lean and Six Sigma statistical tools to improve product and process performance Create Change Requests (CR) and Change Orders (CO) as needed to support improvements Validate new designs for specification compliance Support and assist with the effective transition of new products from engineering to production Function effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team Support sales and marketing Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Include: Demonstrated experience working hands-on in a manufacturing and/or engineering environment bringing newly developed products to a sustained level of production, as well as supporting legacy products already deployed to manufacturing Knowledge and familiarity with RF test equipment, such as signal generators, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and other standard RF test equipment Demonstrated ability to multi-task, remain organized and complete objectives on time Possess a solid understanding of basic manufacturing principles along with knowledge of electrical engineering principles Ability to work independently with little supervision and deliver meaningful results Possess practical, hands-on skills and an ability to work collaboratively with engineers, technicians, and operators Knowledge of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) applications such as NI LabVIEW or other similar application Demonstrated ability to apply Lean and Six Sigma tools in engineering or manufacturing environments Must have excellent written and verbal skills Must be able to effectively and efficiently communicate with other departments, including manufacturing, engineering and management Must be able to communicate effectively with the customer (both internal and external), both in verbal and written formats Requirements Include:
